Cookbook Club – Handmade Pasta
The holiday season tends to be filled with gatherings that heavily involve eating (and therefore cooking). It’s a wonderful time for the kind of people who would join a Cookbook Club, but we were worried that people might need a bit of a break. We didn’t want to skip December’s event completely because we have such a fun time at our Cookbook Club get-togethers. So instead of asking people to cook a dish from a particular cookbook ahead of time, we just had everyone show up to do some cooking together as a group. Go to my Cookbook Club site to see the whole pasta-making extravaganza! For now, here’s a little teaser!
Look at this insanely awesome setup. We had ravioli, gnocchi, marinara, and brown butter sage sauce all going at the same time!
We made 3 kinds of dough – spinach, egg, and tomato – for our pasta.
Then used our rainbow pasta to make fun ravioli shapes.
We also did this beautifully bright beet gnocchi.
Gorgeous, right? I detailed the whole process on my Cookbook Club site – check it out!
