I was gifted 3 bottles of molasses… but I’ve never cooked with molasses before. Not one to waste food stuffs, I set out to find ways to use the smoky sweet syrup. Thus begins Mission: Molasses. These salty sweet kale chips turned out so good that my boyfriend ate them all before I could even transfer them off the baking sheet.
Guessipe
- 5 oz kale, torn into bite-sized pieces
- 1 TBSP olive oil
- 2 tsp molasses
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Toss all ingredients together and spread out on a baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes.
