Garlic Aioli

I served this to a friend who hates mayonnaise, and he loved it so much that now I have to keep him regularly supplied. He uses it for everything – dipping sauce for fries and tater tots, condiment on sandwiches, seasoning for eggs, even just spread on toast like it’s butter. It’s easy to make, but seems gourmet, and uses a simple set of ingredients you probably have readily available even during this COVID-19 food shortage.

Guessipe

  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 1 TBSP lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients together until well combined. Refrigerate for at least an hour to allow flavors to meld.
