For years I had been hearing about the Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit, and had been meaning to go try one. I just don’t eat fast food very often, and for some reason on the rare occasions when it seems like a good idea, it’s Sunday… which is a no-go for Chick-fil-A. A couple years ago, they built a Chick-fil-A less than a block from my house, and finally a few months ago I actually got around to trying their chicken biscuit. It was indeed tasty, and it inspired me to add chicken biscuits to my breakfast-making rotation.
Guessipe
- biscuit
- fried chicken (boneless)
- honey butter
Split a biscuit in half (I bake up biscuits from a can – seriously, they are easy, inexpensive, and more delicious than the ones I’ve tried to make from scratch). Spread honey butter on one side. Place fried chicken on the other side (for a quick and easy breakfast I just use pre-made chicken nuggets, but if you want to make your own, go for it! I hear Chick-fil-A brines their chicken in pickle juice, and it IS delicious). Put the two sides together and enjoy your chicken biscuit breakfast!
