Have I mentioned that my boyfriend loves pizza? Which means we do a fair number of pizza nights. And that occasionally means leftover pizza dough. I often use the leftover dough to make focaccia, but one day I wanted to make burgers, and decided to see if I could make cheesy buns out of the leftover dough I had in the fridge. They turned out so good that I had to pull a couple aside for the burgers before my boyfriend ate them all.
Guessipe
- pizza dough
- garlic salt
- shredded mozzarella
Divide the dough into 1/4 cup-sized balls. Place on a foil-lined baking tray and allow to rise for 2 hours. After 2 hours the dough will have increased in size and spread out. Fold the edges into the middle then flip the dough over to re-form your dough into balls. Sprinkle with garlic salt and mozzarella.
Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes.
