Berry Cream Brûlée

This is a dessert I learned from my friend Sheana, and have adopted into my repertoire because it is dead simple but so tasty. Anything you serve in ramekins and brûlée can be put forth at a dinner party as a fancy dessert. No one will know that this has 3 ingredients and takes minutes to make. It’s the perfect Guessipe. Feel free to use any kind of berries you like.

Guessipe

  • 1 cup frozen berries, thawed
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
  • 8 TBSP brown sugar

Layer 1/4 of the berries into each of 4 ramekins.

Then layer 1/4 of the whipped cream into each.

Pat 2 TBSP of brown sugar into each ramekin, then brûlée it with a kitchen torch or in your broiler. Serve and don’t tell anyone how easy it was to make!
